(1)Research on regional continental water, mountain glaciers, polar ice sheets, and changes in ocean mass level. Combining multi-source observation technologies such as satellite gravity, satellite altimetry, and GNSS to detect the migration and changes of global or in typical region in different spatiotemporal scales; Utilize various advanced signal analysis methods to analyze the spatiotemporal characteristics of mass changes and gain a deeper understanding of their changing mechanisms.
(2)Based on the mass changes of ocean, land and atmospheric components (such as precipitation, evapotranspiration, etc.), combined with the Earth's multi cycle system, research the interaction laws between ocean, land and atmosphere, reveal the internal relationship between environment and climate change, and analyze the effects of human activities.
